Out of the Black Shadows: The Amazing Transformation of Stephen Lungu
This is a new, revised and expanded edition of the popular missionary biography, "Out of the Black Shadows."
"Out of the Black Shadows" tells of Stephen Lungu's amazing transformation from a homeless urban gang member to a converted follower of God.
At the age of 11, Stephen was confined to the streets of Zimbabwe, where he found shelter under bridges and fed himself via the dustbins of white people. Within a few years, Stephen had joined a dangerous gang known as the Black Shadows. Stephen learned how to burgle, mug and intimidate the local people.
Then came the incredible, God-inspired transformation of Stephen Lungu. When an evangelist arrived in the area, Stephen was immediately tasked with bombing the event, but instead chose to stay amongst the crowd and listen to the evangelist's inspiring words. Since this point, Stephen has been inspired to become a Christian and a respected Evangelist.
Stephen Lungu has been referred to as the 'African Billy Graham' and has become an international evangelist who often tours great venues in Europe and America. Stephen uses his book, "Out of the Black Shadows," to discuss his life experiences as a gang member and as an inspirational evangelist.
